Inside, the L-shaped layout creates a spacious and easy-flowing living area, with a lounge at one end, kitchen at the other and a dining space in between. With two bedrooms sleeping up to four guests, it offers everything you need for a comfortable and practical stay.
One of The Lodge’s standout features is the enclosed garden, giving you a private outdoor space to relax while your dog can enjoy the fresh countryside air safely. With views towards Bulbarrow Hill and space to sit outside, it’s perfect for slower mornings and relaxed evenings.
From your doorstep, you can enjoy easy access to our surrounding land and lakes, with peaceful countryside walks and no need to head onto the road, making it ideal for relaxed days out with your dog.
With underfloor heating, complimentary Wi-Fi and everything you need for a stress-free stay, The Lodge is a great choice for a simple and enjoyable Dorset escape with your dog.

The contemporary, sleek grey kitchen also boasts the original barn tiles and is fully equipped with double oven and ceramic hob plus under counter fridge freezer.
There is a dining area with table and chairs for four guests.
The back door of the Lodge leads off from the kitchen onto a sunny south facing patio.
The spacious L shaped lounge area offers comfortable leather sofas, coffee table, 50" wall mounted SMART TV and large south facing window with curtains. There is also an entrance door with blinds.
The Lodge is semi detached with the Stable and features underfloor heating throughout.
This cottage has retained many original barn features such as exposed beams, original detailed woodwork and oak doors making this a truly traditional countryside escape.
Outdoor Area
The Lodge enjoys beautiful views across open countryside towards Bulbarrow Hill, one of Dorset’s highest points, creating a peaceful setting for your stay.
The property features a private enclosed walled garden and a sunny south-facing patio with picnic furniture, perfect for dining alfresco or relaxing outdoors.
Surrounding open lawns provide space for outdoor games, family fun or simply enjoying the fresh Dorset countryside air.
For added convenience, the property also benefits from an outdoor drying line.
Set within 65 acres at The Victorian Barn, guests can enjoy a wide range of outdoor space, from open lawns to patio areas, creating a relaxing and tranquil environment.
There is parking for one car directly outside the Lodge, with additional parking available nearby. The site also offers ample parking with extra wide spaces.
An onsite EV charger allows you to explore Dorset with ease and return to recharge your vehicle at the end of the day.
Group Accommodation
The Lodge is semi-detached with the Stable, perfect for groups of six to eight. Great for those who wish to holiday together but still like their own space.
