Pool - Overnight Guests

The information on this page is for overnight guests staying within our accommodation.

We're thrilled to welcome you for your stay within our self catering accommodation at The Victorian Barn Dorset and to our beautiful indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, nestled inside a picturesque pine log cabin. Our 12.5 metre pool is the perfect place to unwind, relax and for the kids to splash and play, and it's heated to a comfortable 30°C using renewable energy (baby wetsuits are recommended for little ones).

Our swimming pool offers a serene and tranquil environment. We aim to create a comfortable space for all and our pool is designed to accommodate various preferences and needs.

We take safety and hygiene very seriously, so you can rest assured that our pool is clean and safe for you to enjoy. We use a combination of a UV system and Chlorine to ensure the water is crystal-clear.

Getting in and out is easy thanks to the main door located by the car park.

At The Victorian Barn Dorset, our indoor heated pool and sauna are available every day of your stay, so you can enjoy a swim every day. Full swimming pool details can be found in your guest information prior to arrival.

School Holidays

During school holidays, communal swimming is typically available:

• Winter and autumn holidays: 10 am until 4 pm daily

• Spring and summer holidays: 10 am until 5.30 pm daily

Outside of these hours, there may be an opportunity to book private swim sessions for overnight guests, subject to availability and an additional fee.

Times may vary slightly depending on occupancy and will be confirmed before your stay.

Please note that we follow Dorset school holiday dates, which may differ from other areas.

Weekends (Outside of School Holidays)

At weekends outside of school holidays, communal swimming is typically available:

• Fridays: 4 pm until 6 pm

• Saturdays: 10 am until 4 pm

Outside of these hours, private sessions may be available, subject to availability and an additional fee.

For guests staying three nights over the weekend, Sunday swimming is available via private sessions at no extra cost. Communal swimming is not usually scheduled on Sundays.

Midweek Stays (Outside of School Holidays)

For midweek stays outside of school holidays, the pool is available for private swim sessions throughout your stay at no additional cost.

A booking link will be provided after booking, with sessions available to book within 20 days of arrival.
