Inside, you’ll find a comfortable open-plan living space with a compact kitchen and lounge, along with a double bedroom and twin bedroom. The layout is ideal for a relaxed stay, with everything you need for a comfortable break.
One of The Stable’s standout features is the bright conservatory dining area, where you can enjoy meals together while taking in views towards Bulbarrow Hill. After a day exploring the Dorset countryside, step outside to your private patio and unwind in the hot tub.
From the property, you can step straight out onto our land and enjoy gentle countryside walks around the lakes and grounds, with no roads to cross. For those wanting to go further, it’s easy to connect onto longer public footpaths straight from the property.
With underfloor heating throughout, complimentary Wi-Fi and space for your dog to join you, The Stable offers a warm, easy and enjoyable countryside stay.

Ground Floor

Our bedrooms boast comfortable memory foam mattresses with plush pillows and duvets (non feather), fitted wardrobes, dressing tables, bedside tables & full length mirrors.

The contemporary, sleek grey kitchen is fully equipped with double oven and ceramic hob, under counter fridge and table top freezer.
The lounge area offers comfortable leather sofa and armchair, coffee table, 50" wall mounted SMART TV and an entrance door with blinds.
Leading off from the kitchen area is the wonderful south facing conservatory with dining table and chairs for four guests plus comfortable relaxing chairs.
This cottage has retained many original barn features such as exposed beams, original detailed woodwork and oak doors making this a truly traditional countryside escape.
The Stable is semi detached with the Lodge and benefits from underfloor heating throughout.
Outdoor Area
Enjoy your own private enclosed garden, perfect for relaxing or letting little ones (and dogs) roam safely.
Step out onto the sunny south-facing patio, complete with picnic furniture and your own warm, bubbling hot tub, ideal for unwinding after a day exploring Dorset or dining alfresco in the fresh countryside air.
The conservatory offers beautiful views across open countryside towards Bulbarrow Hill, one of Dorset’s highest points, bringing the outdoors in whatever the season.
Guests also have access to 65 acres of surrounding countryside, perfect for outdoor games, walks, or simply soaking up the peaceful setting.
Parking for one car directly outside, with additional nearby spaces available. An EV charger is available onsite, along with an outdoor drying line for longer stays.
Group Accommodation
The Stable is semi-detached with the Lodge, perfect for groups of six to eight. Great for those who wish to holiday together but still like their own space.
