My first waggy tale story. Adventures at The Victorian Barn & Dairy House Farm.

First let me introduce myself, my name is Katy, I was born 26th September 2008, I am a black and white Jack Russell, female and petite. GSOH.

My hobbies include chasing rabbits, and the occasional bird. I enjoy rounding up the cattle, but my most favourite job is making friends with the guests staying with us in the self catering accommodation, for holidays, short breaks, weddings and anyone who would like to give me a little cuddle. I am always being mentioned in trip advisor you can read about my past success.

I have produced two beautiful puppies with the help of my husband called Chief. My son, who I named Max but is now called Dave, lives in Wimborne, and my daughter Ruby who lives close by visits me at least 3 times a week.

On the 27th September, my adopted parents, Penny and Derek, hosted the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support and raised a wonder total of £414, for this wonderful charity. I was so pleased that the owners of my son (Dave) brought him over to the Coffee Morning and we had a great time playing on the lawns. He certainly is a handsome chap, and MUCH larger than me. He wasn’t as keen on his sister, sibling rivalry.

I love a wedding at The Victorian Barn, I get to meet a lot of happy people but clearing up after they have left is not so good for my waistline.

This summer was lovely and hot I sunbathed most days out on the patio and had lots of exercise as many families with children took me for walks around the farm and lakes.

It’s early October and the nights are drawing in, it’s still sunny during the day, but I do sneak into the farmhouse cheese room in the evening and sit by the rayburn which I can say is not warmed up, I keep making hints. I think they are holding out until November! The Aga in the kitchen is on all year round..... but I am not allowed in there.

Pawings for now..... more autumn/winter stories to come.
