Hi Penny

I know you are busy but just a quick summary of our trip so far....

First night Friday night we sat in the hot tub and watched the meteor shower. I saw 2 shooting stars and one satellite- it was so beautiful I could have cried!!

We have had no kitchen at home for 4 and a half months due to a flood which has been challenging.

Yesterday we went for a beautiful walk and picked blackberries and then found some apples in an old abandoned orchard. We picked them and came back to the cottage and made 3 homemade blackberry and apple crumbles!!

Today we walked to Bulbarrow Hill, came back and had bacon sandwiches then went swimming for the afternoon.

Right now I am cooking a Sunday roast dinner for the first time in 5 months!!

We love it here so so much. It's so wonderful to have family time with no time restrictions and no car needed and such wonderful beautiful countryside around us.
