Self Catering Holiday Accommodation Dorset - The Victorian Barn & Dairy House

"We stayed at The Victorian Barn for a week in May 2014 and were joined by some family for the Bank Holiday weekend.

The surrounding area is picturesque (especially recommend the view from top of Bullbarrow Hill, Woolland).

The grounds and Victorian Barn / accommodations are very modern and spacious with all rooms being en suite in the cottages we rented.

We stayed in Jasmine Cottage with our relatives in the adjoining Plumtree cottage for the weekend which was perfect for the 13 of us with plenty of room for group dining / socialising.

The facilities on site were clean and great for keeping the kids entertained - swimming pool, games room and for us, using the gym.

We also enjoyed the grounds and some lovely BBQ’s in the grounds.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and made us feel really welcome whilst at the same time not being intrusive. Will definitely be staying there again.

Location is also perfect for day trips, after our relatives left we went to Weymouth for a beach day, Bournemouth for an Oceanarium visit and finally Southampton for Peppa Pig world which were all within an hours drive of The Victorian Barn.

Dorset itself also has lots of local attractions and great areas to explore - we attended the local annual “Knob throwing festival†which was great fun and very British!
