As August draws to a close we are looking forward to September, Autumn and then Christmas will be here!

The weather has been very mixed this month, after a very hot July. We can only hope that the promised Indian Summer starting this Sunday 31st August continues throughout September.

Our holidaying guests are missing the rain showers by using the indoor pool, gym, sauna and games room. When the sun is out a walk around the lakes is something not to be missed. The portable hot tubs have been very popular throughout the season, come rain or shine.

The Great Dorset Steam Fair only a few miles from The Victorian Barn, after a wet start is hopefully drying up for the visitors to enjoy the wonderful and many attractions and entertainment.

Bournemouth Air Festival is starting today until the weekend, another great local event. We look forward to seeing photos of the 94 year old wing walker. Rather him than me.

The little girl guests staying in Leopold House last week left this little poem for Katy our "meet and greet" pet dog. Very sweet.
