Summers here - The Victorian Barn Dorset

This week’s farmers report. All the cows/bull and calves are out to grass enjoy the fresh rural Dorset air.

The farmer has cut a further 35 acres of mowing grass hoping to make hay so the sun has to keep shining until at least Sunday!

The lakes are fishing really well Park Lake are on the point of spawning closely followed by Oak Lake (specimen). A good sized eel was caught in Park Lake at the weekend, always a good sign of a healthy lake.

The guests staying in the self catering accommodation this week are out and about exploring Dorset and coming back to The Victorian Barn to enjoy the onsite leisure facilities.
