Summer Holidays in Dorset

Schools out for summer. So, for better or for worse, depending on where you stand or sit on holiday traffic, the summer holidays are upon us.

We have been busy welcoming guests into our self catering holiday cottages this afternoon, most are currently sitting outside on the patios enjoying the heat of late afternoon, after receiving their online food delivery and then residing in their private hot tubs.

UK Heat Wave

What a week for weather it has been, tropical UK who would believe it. As far as we can tell the lovely weather is set to last for most of next week.

There are many events and activities for the young and old alike, in and around Dorset and the local area. However if you simply want chill and relax there are always things to do here, the heated indoor swimming pool, children’s play area, private hot tubs, the coarse fishing lakes and the games room, with Pool table, table top Football and Quiz Machine and freshly stocked up for the holidays with board games, outdoor play games and puzzles. Not forgetting the great outdoors on the door step of The Victorian Barn. We can supply a number of walks from easy, short to long, or quest to find a good pub lunch!

A local Inn, The Crown Inn Ibberton, offering home cooked meals and ales, is re-opening its doors for business from Saturday 23rd July 2016, we wish the new landlords every success on their new venture. Only 1.8 miles and a 35 minute walk from The Victorian Barn.
